General Care
General Care in preserving the beauty and functionality of Minerelle is as simple as wiping with a warm damp cloth. Do not leave spills on the surface for a prolonged period. We recommend Minerelle Finishing Spray to enhance the surface finish and make cleaning easier.

Care & Maintenance Kits are available to help keep your surfaces in good condition and can be purchased from your local distributor or retailer.

Cleaning Stains
Avoid using harsh chemicals as these will strip off the surface polish and leave the surface patchy.  Always start by trying the gentlest method first (warm damp cloth, soapy water etc).

Cuts and Scratches
Do not cut directly on the Minerelle work surface. This will serve to scratch the surface and blunt the knives blade. Always use a cutting board.

Worktop Savers in matching colour to your worktops can be obtained (300 x 400mm) from your distributor or retailer.

Minor cuts and scratches can be removed by following the instructions in the Care & Maintenance Kit.

For deep scratches or other damage to the surfaces please contact your distributor or retailer for advice.

Heat
When using gas burning hobs, be careful with overhanging large pans or woks, as the wet heat can be directed back down onto the surface, use a worktop saver or trivet to protect the surface.

Never place hot pans, dishes or heat producing appliances directly onto the surfaces. Always use a hot pad or trivet to avoid marking the surface.

Do not place coffee percolators or constant heat over jointed areas.
